The Local Kindness Licence

$100 for your first four weeks, then $25 per week. One partner per Location. This page explains what the licence includes, how it works, and what's expected of a partner.

What you receive

  • Exclusive rights to operate Local Kindness services in your Location.
  • Your own Local Kindness website, created and updated as you add services.
  • Access to Local Kindness services as they become available.
  • Bookings, job tracking and worker allocation through the platform.
  • A clear record of every booking and payment in your Location.

How it works

  1. Search for your suburb or postcode and select the exact locality.
  2. Claim it — enter your ABN.
  3. Pay through Stripe — your site activates automatically the moment payment succeeds, no approval wait.
  4. Set your local pricing for each service and start taking jobs.

Principles

  • Kindness first — every job is a chance to help a neighbour.
  • Reliability — a booked job gets done, on time.
  • Fair, transparent pricing for customers and workers alike.
  • One Location, one Partner.

What we ask of a partner

  • Keep your licence current.
  • Complete accepted bookings properly and on time.
  • Keep job status up to date.
  • Maintain the quality and reliability customers expect.
  • Represent Local Kindness professionally in your Location.
  • Follow Local Kindness safety and service standards.

What you earn

  • You choose your local services and prices.
  • Your share of each job, on the split set out under Revenue split and cancellation below.

Revenue split and cancellation

Once any supplier costs are paid — meals, flowers, and the like — you keep 90% of what remains. Local Kindness keeps 10%.

Your share of a job is released after you mark the job complete.

No lock-in. Your licence has no minimum term — cancel it and walk away anytime. Your Location is released immediately and becomes available for another partner to claim.

Your data and intellectual property as a partner

What you bring remains yours. Genuinely pre-existing material you bring to your territory — your own logo, original photos you took, or business content you created independently — stays your property. Adding it to your territory site gives Local Kindness the licence needed to host and display it as part of your site for as long as your territory is active.

What the platform generates belongs to Local Kindness. Customer relationships and contact records, bookings and order history, reviews, your territory's performance history, and your territory address (e.g. doubleview6018.localkindness.com.au) are Local Kindness platform business assets — not something a partner owns or can take with them.

While your licence is active, you have the access you need to run your territory and to use customer information to deliver and market Local Kindness services in it — always consistently with our Privacy Policy, never as unrestricted property. You must not export, scrape, sell, or otherwise use Local Kindness customer or platform data for any purpose outside operating your territory, and your access to it ends when your licence does. Full detail is in our Terms of Service.

This page describes the licence in plain terms — the Stripe checkout and our Terms of Service set the exact terms.
